Alden's Wingtip pattern, whether created in a boot or shoe pattern, is rivaled by no other shoemakers. We decided to create it in this beautiful shade of reddish brown that Alden calls "Tan Michigan" calfskin, a brand-new leather for Alden!
Michigan Calfskin has a softer hand than the dress calfskin Alden typically uses, with a very short break-in period. Handcrafted on the Barrie Last, we chose a commando sole and reverse welt for maximum versatility and wearability.
